this print is from a zinc plate that was covered in grounds and then scratched with a pin. i started working on this image during my junior year in germany, but the art class i was in never got around to actually finishing the project. so then during my printmaking class in college i pulled it out, touched it up and put it in the acid bath to finish it off.
the cyrillic letters don't mean anything (as far as i know). i chose them purely aesthetically.
